Role Summary

The Direct Care Provider is entrusted with the vital role of guiding individuals towards their fullest potential in a supportive environment. This position focuses on enhancing the intellectual, emotional, and social development of clients, particularly those with developmental disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized instruction aimed at fostering growth and independence among individuals.
  • Design and implement activities that encourage personal achievements and milestones.
  • Provide care and services within a nurturing and supportive atmosphere.
  • Assist clients with medication management and daily nutritional needs.
  • Facilitate transportation for clients to necessary appointments.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Strong instructional skills tailored to the needs of clients facing emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • COVID-19 Vaccination required.
  • Ability to successfully complete background checks.
  • Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis principles is preferred.
