Position Summary: As a Surgical Technologist Inpatient Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting a team of medical professionals in delivering surgical care to patients.

Job Duties:

The Surgical Technologist Inpatient Coordinator acts as an extension of the Resource Nurse, facilitating patient services in collaboration with the healthcare team. The Coordinator must possess proficiency in the surgical technologist competencies of the unit. Under the supervision of the Resource Nurse, the Coordinator is responsible for making informed decisions regarding supplies and equipment integration in healthcare.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program is required.
  • Prior experience as a Surgical Technician is preferred.

Certification Requirements:

  • Successful completion of the National Exam for O.R. Technicians is preferred.

Work Schedule:

  • Varied shifts, Monday through Friday, with hours from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM; 80 hours biweekly.
  • Availability for weekends, occasional holidays, and on-call duties may be required.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with actual rates based on experience.
