Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera’s patient-focused settings.

*This position may be eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus*

 

Position Highlights:

  • Student Loan Repayment: This Registered Nurse (RN) position may be eligible for Avera’s Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

Job Summary

  • Provides for the delivery of professional RN nursing care. Avera McKennan requires all nurses to practice in a competent level within the ANA Standards of Clinical Nursing Practice.
  • Ability to work with our breast health multidisciplinary Team
  • Assist with in clinic procedures such as port removal and drain removals
  • Support of breast cancer patients through their breast cancer journey with surgical education and coordination of care
  • Support of High-Risk breast patients and non-cancer breast patients.
  • Be a part of Dr. Michelle Bryan care team and our Comprehensive breast care clinic ://

Education and/or Experience

  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred. Graduate from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of
  • Multi-state licensure required.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota may be required depending on patient/job assignment.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 7:30am-5:00pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

  • $26.25 - $39.25 per hour
