Position Overview:As the Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will oversee the Maintenance Team, ensuring the optimal functioning of our equipment, facilities, and grounds. This role encompasses the management of electrical systems, HVAC, conveyor systems, and safety protocols. You will collaborate with local service providers to secure high-quality, cost-effective maintenance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise a team of 10-15 maintenance personnel.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective coaching, motivation, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure the safety and efficiency of all operational equipment, taking necessary actions as required.
- Coordinate daily maintenance tasks and consult with team members to identify future needs.
- Work closely with management to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities in alignment with production demands.
- Engage with local contractors and vendors for necessary equipment and services.
- Manage inventory of parts and equipment, ensuring timely procurement for repairs and maintenance.
- Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate reports as needed.
- 3-5 years of experience with conveyor systems in a distribution environment.
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, industry standards, and maintenance best practices.
- Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience in a maintenance role.
- A formal education in a related field (preferably a minimum of a 2-year program) is highly desirable.
- High School diploma is required; college experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential.

Compensation: The starting salary for this position ranges from $61,000 to $78,100.
