AV Account Executive Role Overview

Avidex is a leading provider of audiovisual and IT integration solutions, and we are seeking a highly skilled AV Account Executive to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in achieving sales and profitability objectives, focusing on both new and existing clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet assigned sales quotas and develop individual territory business.
  • Identify marketplace opportunities and engage prospective clients.
  • Lead the sales process, preparing proposals and bid responses.
  • Communicate project scope, schedule, and change order costs with clients.
  • Develop precise scopes of work for proposed integration and installation projects.
  • Qualify high-margin leads and guide clients through planning, design, implementation, and support phases.
  • Establish partnerships with clients and provide exceptional service throughout the account lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the team to close business deals and implement sales and marketing tactics.
  • Manage customer accounts and provide sales support, coordination, and planning.

Requirements:
  • Associate degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in consultative sales and customer support in AV/IT or a similar technology industry.
  • Proficiency in using Windows, MS Office, and CRM software.
  • Professional communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good overall knowledge of AV/IT products, design, engineering, sales, and the industry.
