Compensation:
- Competitive pay rate of $27 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough internal investigations utilizing comprehensive knowledge of employee relations and familiarity with California HR legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Offer guidance, support, and coaching to employees, supervisors, and management on matters related to employee relations, labor laws, policy interpretation, and performance management.
- Oversee corrective actions as necessary and manage the processing of workers' compensation claims and safety incident reports.
- Liaise with the industrial clinic, workers' compensation carrier, department leadership, and employees regarding work restrictions, accommodations, and leave management.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; a College Degree is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, with a focus on Employee Relations.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
