Job Summary:

This position plays a critical role in administering, developing, and supporting our ESRI GIS systems to enhance company efficiency, regulatory compliance, responsiveness, and competitive advantage at Southern Star Central Gas Pipeline.

Key Responsibilities:

Supports the technology objectives of the company by designing, analyzing, developing, implementing, upgrading, testing, troubleshooting, administering, and supporting our ESRI GIS systems.
Partners with business departments, vendors, and developers to translate business needs into technology solutions.
Develops a solid understanding of applications being supported.
Increases knowledge of Information Technology methodologies, tools, and techniques.
Draws on analytical experience to develop a variety of solutions for moderately complex problems.
Adheres to department values, policies, procedures, methodologies, and security and / or confidentiality requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
2+ years experience in ESRI GIS tools.
Experience with database design and SQL querying.
Strong communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
Analytical and organization skills.
Preferred
Major in Computer Science, Geographic Information Systems, or similar technical degree.
Experience with ESRI APR (including branch versioning), UPDM data model, Utility Network, and ESRI Mobile solutions.
Experience with Programming or Scripting languages.
Experience with Web Services (WCF, WebAPI, or REST).
Project management experience a plus.
