Quality Assurance Specialist

At Veridiam, we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide technical support to the Quality department in developing and maintaining processes and procedures.
Key responsibilities include inspecting and modifying existing templates, forms, and programs, as well as maintaining and monitoring calibration processes and certifications.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and statistical process control.
They will also be able to effectively communicate and maintain an organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop quality-related plans, procedures, and work instructions
- Inspect and modify existing templates and forms, including inspection record forms
- Maintain and monitor calibration systems and processes
- Develop, maintain, and/or modify statistical process control data collection templates
- Perform statistical analysis of process data, including capability studies
- Create product and process certifications
- Support continuous improvement activities, including value stream mapping, Kaizen events, and 6S
- Perform gage repeatability and reproducibility studies
- Coordinate receipt of return material authorizations and material lots
- Assist with commercial grade dedications and borescope inspections
- Perform process audits and report out and assess needs for improvement
- Coordinate and maintain first article inspection reports
Requirements:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED)
- Minimum 5 years related experience or equivalent of education and experience
- Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
- Knowledge of statistical process control
- Ability to use calibration management systems
- Knowledge of computer systems and electronic filing systems
- Knowledge and ability to use measuring tools and devices
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to maintain an organized work environment
