Job Summary
As a Laundry Services Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a hygienic environment within our healthcare facilities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily Operations: Execute daily tasks to ensure cleanliness and safety in laundry handling.
- Independent and Team Work: Collaborate with team members or work independently to utilize equipment and techniques for safe laundry management.
- Infection Control: Adhere to infection prevention protocols while managing contaminated laundry in accordance with healthcare standards.
- Sorting and Distribution: Participate in the collection, sorting, and distribution of clean linens, ensuring compliance with established procedures.
- Physical Tasks: Engage in physical activities including lifting, moving, and handling various materials, with the ability to lift up to 30-50 lbs.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a cleaning role within a healthcare setting is advantageous. Familiarity with cleaning materials and equipment is beneficial. A valid driver's license and a good driving record may be required based on location.
