Laundry Technician Role

At Good Samaritan Society, we are seeking a skilled Laundry Technician to join our team. As a Laundry Technician, you will be responsible for collecting dirty linens from wards, rooms, and medical offices, and distributing clean and disinfected linens. You will also follow infection prevention guidelines to handle contaminated laundry according to organizational and healthcare industrial laundry standards. Your duties will include washing, drying, folding linens, sorting and folding clothing, and completing the proper labeling process for designated healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect dirty linens from wards, rooms, and medical offices
  • Distribute clean and disinfected linens
  • Follow infection prevention guidelines for handling contaminated laundry
  • Wash, dry, fold linens, sort and fold clothing, and complete labeling process
