We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Service Technician to join our team at The Arcticom Group. As a key member of our commercial service team, you will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration systems in grocery stores and other commercial settings.
Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair refrigeration systems, including self-contained coolers and freezers, single and rack systems, and other mechanical and electrical components.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs on refrigeration equipment, including walk-in drain lines, case drain lines, cooling towers, and water-cooled condensers.
- Inspect plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration systems to identify specifications and requirements.
- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs for HVAC and Refrigeration systems.
- Collaborate directly with grocery store managers and store directors to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Quote equipment repairs and recommend replacement when necessary.
- Maintain proper van stock, tools, and safety equipment on work vans.
- 2+ years of prior HVAC/R experience.
- Ability to pass a physical/drug screen/background investigation/driving abstract as needed.
- Universal EPA License and Electrical License preferred.
- 2-3 years of grocery refrigeration/HVAC experience and related education/certification in the HVAC and refrigeration industry.
