Job Summary

This position provides exceptional customer service experiences to guests in a gaming environment by performing the following duties:

  • Deliver Outstanding Guest Service: Promote and provide excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
  • Menu and Beverage Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of the dining or beverage menu and any special items being offered.
  • Anticipate Guest Needs: Observe guests and anticipate needs and complete all steps of service as assigned.
  • Build Relationships: Build and maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings to ensure all questions are answered appropriately and accurately.
  • Attendance and Punctuality: Maintain a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
  • Special Projects: Perform other special projects and duties as assigned.
Regulatory and Compliance Responsibilities

In addition to the other duties described herein, each Team Member has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:

  • Attend Required Training: Attend required training sessions offered by the Company.
  • Obtain Required Licenses: Obtain and retain required license(s).
  • Compliance with Laws: Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Minor Protection: Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Knowledge of Ordinances: Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the Team Member's department.
  • Problem Gaming Programs: Have knowledge of the Property's programs to address problem gaming.
  • Reporting Wrongdoing: Report any acts of wrongdoing of which the Team Member may have knowledge.
Education, Training, and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume bar, restaurant or nightclub is preferred.
  • Wine and Alcohol Knowledge: In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred.
  • Guest Service Skills: Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Policies: This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
  • Age and Physical Demands: Must be at least eighteen (21) years of age. Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours. The ability to lift, push and pull up to 20 pounds.
