Correctional Nurse

We are seeking a qualified Correctional Nurse to join our team at AB Staffing Solutions. As a Correctional Nurse, you will provide healthcare services to inmates, conduct health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations, and administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Responsibilities:- Provide healthcare services to inmates, including health assessments, screenings, and medical evaluations.
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, documenting all patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care to stabilize patients in critical situations.
- Educate inmates about health issues, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications to improve their overall well-being.
- Participate in health promotion and disease prevention programs within the correctional facility.
- Treat inmates for chronic health issues, trauma, infection, and substance abuse.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of patient care.
- Collaborate with correctional staff to address security concerns while delivering patient care.
- 2+ years of RN experience; Correctional, Psychiatric, and related nursing experience preferred.
- CO or multistate RN License Required.
- Active BLS.
- Clean background check upon hire.
At AB Staffing Solutions, we offer a competitive pay package, including $2,522.00 per week based on 36-40 hours, local and travel pay packages available, weekly direct deposit, and benefits such as medical, dental, vision, and 401K. We also offer a travel bonus to the assignment.
