Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at UCHealth (Colorado). As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing various ultrasound procedures to provide high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct ultrasound examinations to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients and perform imaging procedures to ensure accurate and complete results
  • Monitor patient condition and report/respond to changes in status as necessary
  • Implement safety standards and perform quality control procedures on equipment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis and treatment
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound Technologist program or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program
  • Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS), Vascular Technologist (RVT), or Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or certified in Sonography (S) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification
