This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in radiologic technology, with a focus on mammography. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and a commitment to delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including mammography, to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care, addressing their concerns and needs in a compassionate and respectful manner.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) and certified in Mammography (M) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- State licensure if required by law.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification.
