Position Overview

As a Marine Construction Engineer with TIC, you will play a vital role within our construction team.

You will oversee subcontractors and manage self-performed tasks on our marine and infrastructure initiatives.

District Overview

TIC specializes in self-performing marine projects utilizing company-owned resources for both public and private sectors, with a historical focus on the southeastern region.

By employing our own machinery and fabrication capabilities, we maintain oversight over essential project components, guaranteeing adherence to timelines.

Our extensive experience encompasses various heavy civil projects, including cast-in-place concrete, steel structures, box beams, flat slabs, railroad trestles, arch bridges, bridge expansions, bascule and swing bridges, box culverts, stormwater management, erosion control, dike and levee construction, concrete paving, tunnels, and sound barriers.

Our marine expertise includes lock and dam refurbishments, docks, demolition, naval wharfs, water intake systems, and various piling solutions including steel, concrete, composite, and timber, as well as fender systems, dolphins, piers, dredging, marinas, and LNG facilities.

Responsibilities

Field Engineering:
  • Assist in interpreting project drawings and specifications for field teams and craft supervision.
  • Conduct quantity assessments through measurements and determine the percentage of completed materials and work.

Office Engineering:
