Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accuracy of all food and beverage orders and deliver them promptly to each table.
  • Provide recommendations for appetizers and meals based on menu offerings and daily specials.
  • Collaborate closely with restaurant management to promptly address any customer concerns and enhance the dining experience.
  • Confirm orders with kitchen and bar staff when clarification is needed.
  • Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service.
  • Quickly and accurately take and expedite drink orders; serve refills as requested.
  • Maintain consistent restaurant presentation by utilizing appropriate glassware and polishing as per company standards.
  • Assist in setting and rearranging tables to accommodate larger groups.
  • Adhere to cash handling and point-of-sale procedures.
  • Prepare detailed checks that itemize meal costs and applicable taxes.
  • Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  • Comply with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant work experience is acceptable.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or lounge setting.
  • 1-2 years of hospitality experience with high-profile clientele.
  • Must meet the minimum age requirement of the jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work effectively under pressure with team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment and deliver orders promptly.
  • Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and champagnes.
  • Previous experience with point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with high-profile clients and problem-solving.
  • Highly responsible and dependable.
  • Ability to focus on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous.
  • Flexible availability for AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays.
  • Eager to learn and advance within the restaurant.
  • Must possess valid ServeSafe and TIPs certifications.
Physical Requirements:
