Job Summary:

As a School Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing a range of support services to students, including assessing their needs, providing appropriate social work services, monitoring their performance, and coordinating services with their families and other social service resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess the needs of students and provide appropriate social work services
  • Monitor student performance and provide counseling sessions as needed
  • Consult with instructional staff to develop strategies for student social and personal growth
  • Coordinate services with families and other social service resources

Qualifications:

School Social Worker Certification; experience in K-12 education and SEL planning a plus

Working Conditions:

10-month position, salary based on HBOE/HEA Agreement
