Job Summary:

We are seeking qualified individuals to serve as advisors for various middle school activities and clubs. As an advisor, you will be responsible for leading and guiding students in their chosen activities, while also ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a schedule of meeting dates and activities;
  • Keep accurate attendance records and document the club's activities;
  • Communicate with parents and guardians through letters and other means;
  • Work collaboratively with the principal and other staff members to ensure a smooth and successful program.

Qualifications:
  • New Jersey Teacher Certification and/or County Substitute Certificate;
  • Prior experience preferred;
  • Must be a current Hackensack Certified Teacher or approved Certified Substitute teacher;
  • Must have fingerprint report on file with the Hackensack Board of Education.

Salary: As per HBOE/HEA Agreement, Schedule N
