Job Opportunity: Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This contract role is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team and make a positive impact on the lives of students in the Roanoke area.

About the Position:

  • This is a contract position for the 2024/2025 school year with full-time hours.
  • The SLPA will work with K-12th grade students and have a caseload as part of the onsite program.
  • The ideal candidate will be licensed as an SLPA in Virginia and have a strong understanding of speech therapy practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to speech-language pathologists in implementing individualized education programs.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other professionals to ensure student success.
  • Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Requirements:

  • A degree at the Associate or Bachelor's level is required.
  • Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant in Virginia is mandatory.
