About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist III to join our team at AdventHealth Fish Memorial. As a key member of our cardiovascular services department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a wide range of technical skills during Interventional Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology, or Interventional Radiology procedures to provide an efficient, comfortable, and safe examination of all patients.
  • Be proficient in all aspects of angiography, preparation, assessment, documentation, and monitoring consistent with the policies, procedures, and processes of the Cardiovascular Services department and Hospital Administration.
  • Adhere to the guidelines and standards of professional practice associations and actively participate in outstanding customer service.
  • Follow CDC isolation guidelines, appropriately use PPE, and perform hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.
  • Verify orders and facilitate implementation, communicating with physicians as needed, and perform treatments and administer medications according to policy and training.
  • Produce an accurately written, promptly completed medical record for each patient based on the scope and complexity of the intervention procedure and patient clinical conditions.
  • Perform effectively in all three procedural roles (circulate, monitor, scrub) required in a therapeutic cardiac laboratory team based on the Society of Invasive Cardiovascular Professionals Scope of Practice.
Requirements
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification.
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Certification.
  • Must possess and maintain one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist (R.T.(R)), Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), or Paramedic.
