Job Title: Hydro Blast Technician

USA DeBusk is a leading provider of mechanical and industrial cleaning services, specializing in the downstream energy market. Our team offers a wide range of maintenance and turnaround services, including hydro blasting, hydro cutting, and chemical cleaning.

Job Summary:

The Hydro Blast Technician will perform a variety of physical activities that require strength and flexibility, including handling and positioning equipment, emergency response, and high-pressure water blasting.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and set up cleaning equipment, including high-pressure pumps and vacuum trucks, in accordance with safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
  • Work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and industrial settings.
  • Manually clean, install, and repair equipment on tanks, including valves, caps, hoses, and pumps.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment and work areas prior to starting a job, and inform supervisors of any deficiencies that may cause accidents or injuries.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license or state-issued ID.
  • TWIC card or ability to obtain one.
  • Pass a hair follicle and urine drug screen.
  • Basic safety training skills.
  • Hydro blasting or pressure cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
Physical Requirements:
  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable of standing and walking continuously for long periods of time.
  • Physically capable of climbing, balancing, bending, and kneeling continuously.
