About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Support Specialist to join our team at Sevita. As a key member of our care team, you will work closely with adults with brain injuries, providing personalized support and assistance to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one support to adults with brain injuries, helping them to develop and maintain daily living skills and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with families, involving them in the therapeutic process and providing education and support to help them care for their loved ones.
  • Assist with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household management.
  • Document behavioral progress notes and collaborate with the care team to ensure that treatment plans are meeting the individual's needs.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in behavioral health support.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Behavioral caregiver experience preferred, but not required.
  • Valid/clean driver's license required.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Good attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
