We are in search of a Project Leader to join our sustainability team. This individual will oversee sustainability projects and serve as the primary liaison with key regional clients.

Successful candidates should have a background in environmental consulting and relevant experience in environmental engineering, geology, or hydrogeology as outlined below.


Key Responsibilities:
Managing tasks and project assignments related to environmental assessments, hydrogeological studies, subsurface investigations, and remediation projects;

Deliverables include the creation of soil boring logs, well construction diagrams, potentiometric surface maps, geological cross sections, site sample and plume maps, work plans, and comprehensive reports;

Collaborating with and supervising both field and office personnel while enhancing the capabilities of technical staff;

Managing laboratory and hydrogeologic data;

Expanding and maintaining client relationships through project add-ons and new initiatives while ensuring effective client communication; and


Demonstrating a high level of proficiency in environmental consulting, including financial oversight, client relations, business development, and risk management.


Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of experience in the environmental consulting sector with proven expertise in environmental engineering, geology, or hydrogeology, environmental site assessments, subsurface investigations, and remediation projects.


The ideal candidate will possess:
A BS/MS degree in engineering, geology, or hydrogeology;

A Texas PE/PG license is advantageous, with future eligibility for licensure required;

Experience managing the complete lifecycle of environmental projects, including site investigation and characterization, drilling, environmental multi-media sampling techniques, data interpretation, remedial alternatives evaluation, and remediation design and oversight;

Experience with petroleum sites, RCRA facilities, refineries, and/or industrial properties;

Familiarity with applicable Texas state laws and regulations;

Focus on RCRA compliance, corrective action, and TRRP as it pertains to industrial facilities;

Experience in client interaction, functioning within cross-disciplinary teams, supervising field staff, and managing subcontractors;

Proficiency in preparing technical reports, proposals, and cost estimates;

Ability to meet and exceed deadlines while adhering to project budgets and regulatory compliance;

Capability to implement loss prevention and quality control systems in a project management capacity;

Exceptional oral and written communication skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively; and

Completion of 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER health and safety training.

All new hires will undergo medical surveillance physical exams, including a nine-panel, split specimen drug screen and a breath alcohol test. All drug and alcohol testing will be conducted in accordance with our Substance Abuse Policy. This position may be subject to client-mandated random screenings.


This role may require participation in projects necessitating full vaccination against COVID-19, and proof of vaccination will be required to engage in project work.
