Staff Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Physician to join our team at Comprehensive Community Health Centers Inc. The ideal candidate will provide primary and preventive care to patients, diagnosing and treating diseases, injuries, and other disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide medical services to patients, including routine check-ups, diagnoses, and treatments.
- Stabilize and refer patients in need of urgent care, ensuring timely and effective treatment.
- Examine and treat patients assigned to other providers, assisting in triaging and rescheduling as needed.
- Complete patient charts according to medical practice standards and requirements.
- Assist in obtaining lab specimens from patients, ensuring accurate and timely results.
- Complete administrative projects assigned by the Medical Director, maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
- Participate in on-call schedules, providing 24/7 coverage and support to patients and colleagues.
- Supervise Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in Quality Assurance activities, contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
- Graduate from an accredited medical school with a degree of Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO).
- Completion of an accredited residency program.
- Board certification or board eligibility in a specialty.
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in California.
- Valid DEA registration.
- PALS or NRP certification, with ACLS certification may be required.
