Key Responsibilities
1. Develop and document a cohesive process for Program Office to Program and Cross-Program Interdependencies, necessitating an understanding of existing formats and content structures. As required, create, maintain, and integrate Plans & Process (P&P) documentation from initial drafts to finalized baselines. Facilitate integration across various disciplines, organizations, and systems. Manage agreements planning and oversee tracking and control of Interdependence data and status. Assist in processing and approving Bilateral Software Hardware Exchange Agreements, Lists, and Schedules (BSHEALS) and Bilateral Data Exchange Agreements, Lists, and Schedules (BDEALS) or their equivalents.
2. Formulate and implement efficient strategies, methodologies, and processes for managing, controlling, and organizing Cross Program Interdependencies and associated data management workflows.
3. Provide systems engineering support to the Moon-to-Mars (M2M) Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team, focusing on the Plans & Processes (P&P) team. This includes, but is not limited to, developing and supporting M2M SE&I P&P products, tasks, activities, and reviewing change packages, along with other systems engineering and integration tasks as necessary.
4. Participate, as directed, in various Integrated Task Team (ITT) meetings; Program to Program (P2P) meetings; significant M2M and program-level milestone reviews, and monthly reviews and/or teleconferences to gather necessary information for supporting these task processes.
5. Provide systems engineering support for P&P products and deliverables; assist in weekly P&P meetings to ensure close coordination and integration with other stakeholders; coordinate and facilitate document revisions through CM/DM processes as directed by the Plans & Processes managers.
6. Support the development of M2M Products as assigned.
7. Update P&P technical schedules for products and scopes being executed.
8. Offer strategies for systems engineering based on Product Breakdown Structure.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or industrial engineering, physics, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution, along with significant experience in Systems Engineering/Systems Management. A B.S. with 20 years of experience is preferred.
1. A proactive engineer with strong communication skills, organization, and proficiency in Microsoft products. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
2. The ability to lead cross-agency teams is required.
3. SE&I experience in the development of launch vehicles and large-scale programs producing cross-program SE&I activities, technical assessments, and products is desirable.
4. Previous experience with the Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate Exploration Systems Division/Cross Systems Integration is preferred.
