What We're Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled Banquet Captain to join our team. As a Banquet Captain, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage experiences for our guests. Your duties will include:

  • Coordinating meeting spaces for banquet and catering events to ensure compliance with banquet event orders (BEO) with level of service, quality, and hospitality.
  • Working with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
  • Ensuring that sanitation procedures are met for food handling safety.
  • Assisting with scheduling of employees.
  • Providing outstanding guest services and completing guest checks with accuracy.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of experience as a banquet captain or senior server.
  • Hotel banquet experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of computer systems such as Excel, Word, and POS.
  • Outstanding organizational abilities and skill for taking initiative, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and prioritizing.
  • Passion for food and providing an outstanding guest experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Flexible schedule, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
