Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to fill the role of Corrections Food Service Supervisor. In this position, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the food service department, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee food service operations
  • Supervise staff and inmate workers
  • Analyze inmate census data
  • Review requisitions for food, supplies, and equipment
  • Plan and coordinate staffing coverage

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have at least one year of experience as a Corrections Food Service Instructor or three years of experience in food preparation, production, or service in an institutional food service operation. You must also possess basic training in Elizabethtown, PA and be able to pass a background investigation.

Compensation

This position offers a competitive salary of $48,425 per year, full-time employment with a 40-hour work week, and eligibility for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55. The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is an equal employment opportunity employer and is committed to a diverse workforce.
