Salary and Benefits

  • $14-$15 per hour
  • Clinic Location: Splitting time each week between the Frackville and Hegins locations

Job Summary

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Patient Service Coordinator to join our team. This key role involves providing top-notch customer service, managing front desk duties, and ensuring seamless patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:
    • Welcome patients warmly and check them in/out according to company policy and procedures
    • Pleasantly answer phones and direct patients to the appropriate area or person
    • Accurately register patients and create patient accounts within an Electronic Medical Records system
    • Efficiently schedule patient appointments for new and existing patients
    • Perform routine administrative tasks such as preparing patient charts/documents, insurance verifications, authorizations, data entry, and payment collection
  • Customer Service:
    • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Other Duties:
    • Complete opening/closing duties and other assigned tasks

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • MS Office, basic office support skills, and basic math skills
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with others
  • Previous experience in a similar role desired but not required
