Transportation Specialist

The Town of Brookline DPW Highway and Sanitation department is seeking a skilled Motor Equipment Operator to perform heavy equipment operation and manual labor relating to installing, repairing and maintaining water and sewer lines, or maintaining or constructing highways.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate heavy equipment such as packers, snowplows, and graders
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, hauling, and lifting
- Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of water and sewer lines
- Contribute to the maintenance and construction of highways
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of experience driving heavy equipment and trucks
- Valid Commercial Driver's License, Class A
- Valid MA Hoisting Engineer's License
Salary: $31.49/hourly, plus generous benefits and excellent working conditions.
