Job Description:

As a Director, Data Architect, you will play a key role in driving innovation in the Data Strategy space for the Workplace Investing (WI) division of Fidelity Investments. You will work closely with WI Architects to formulate the strategy and adoption of emerging data technologies to help modernize legacy mainframe applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement data strategy and architecture to drive business growth and innovation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that meet business needs
  • Lead the development of data models, data integration, and data warehousing solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging data technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on the business
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business partners and technology teams
Requirements:
  • BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related field
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data strategies that drive business growth and innovation
  • Strong understanding of data management standard methodologies, including data integration, data security, data warehousing, and data analytics
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, including Azure and AWS
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
