About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Reston Limousine. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Vehicle Inspection and Repair: Conduct thorough inspections of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical systems, air conditioning, air brakes, and computer diagnostics to identify and repair any issues.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory control on the service truck and ensure it is properly stocked with necessary parts and supplies.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all vehicles are in compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, emission control systems, hydraulic systems, suspensions, drive-train components, electrical systems, air conditioning, air brakes, and computer diagnostics.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance.
