Overview

As a Mammography Technologist PRN at Mercy, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography services to our patients. Your expertise will be essential in assisting radiologists in the performance of needle localizations and biopsies, as well as providing patient care essential to radiological procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provides screening and diagnostic mammography for interpretation by radiologists
  • Assists radiologists in the performance of needle localizations and biopsies
  • Provides patient care essential to radiological procedures
  • Applies principles of radiation protection
  • Assists in general radiographic and office duties as needed
  • Drives the mobile mammography unit to different sites throughout St. Louis and Franklin Counties (if primary job assignment is on the mammography van)
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
  • 1+ years of relevant experience OR graduate of Bachelor's degree program
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ARRT(R)(M) certification
