Overview

As a Mammography Technologist PRN at Mercy, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography services to our patients. This is a unique opportunity to join a compassionate and collaborative team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional care and making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provides screening and diagnostic mammography for interpretation by radiologists.
  • Assists the radiologist in the performance of needle localizations and biopsies and provides patient care essential to radiological procedures.
  • Applies principles of radiation protection.
  • Assists in general radiographic and office duties as needed.
  • May drive the mobile mammography unit to different sites throughout St. Louis and Franklin Counties.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours.
  • 1+ years of relevant experience or a graduate degree from a Bachelor's program.
  • Certification as an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registered Technologist (RT) with a specialization in Mammography (R)(M).
