We are seeking a part-time Adaptive Aquatics Instructor to join our team at JCC Greater Boston.

This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on making a difference and has experience in teaching skills that enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities.

The successful candidate will teach swimming techniques and water safety skills to students of all ages with special needs, using the Swim Angelfish curriculum.

Responsibilities include establishing individual swim goals, identifying roadblocks, addressing challenges, and helping swimmers meet swim skill benchmarks.

The ideal candidate will be calm, patient, flexible, creative, and empathic, with prior experience working with various populations in the adapted space.

They will also have intermediate swimming skills, be able to attend in-person and online training, and work a flexible schedule.

Effective communication with community members and coworkers is essential, as is the ability to work in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment.
