Job Summary

This position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of recreational facilities, including scheduling events and establishing rules and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a working familiarity with group activities and recreational equipment, as well as the ability to deal with the public.

Key Responsibilities

  • Test and maintain recreational equipment, including water-skiing and boating gear.
  • Demonstrate safety and conservation techniques for outdoor activities, such as camping, swimming, and boating.
  • Set up and inspect recreational facilities, including gymnasiums and playing fields.
  • Schedule campsites, cabins, and other outdoor recreation equipment and areas for use.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Must be able to lift and carry supplies, materials, and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must satisfactorily complete a favorable Tier Level 1 background investigation.
  • Must have or acquire a state driving license.

This position is part of the Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) activities for the Air Force and Space Force. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service to a diverse population.

Foreign Education
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
