Duties Overview: *Please note, the posted Hiring Salary encompasses the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 25, along with any special salary treatments applicable to this position, such as increased Hiring Rate and a Geographic Differential.
Responsibilities:The Licensed Psychologist will oversee clinical supervision for a team of psychologists and manage their clinical responsibilities within the organization.
The incumbent will provide a comprehensive range of evidence-informed psychological services, offer training and consultation to clinical teams, direct support staff, individuals, and management, and engage in local and statewide committees/workgroups.
The Licensed Psychologist will contribute to the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of psychological programs and services.
Key Duties Include:
- Maintain familiarity with OPWDD policies and procedures. Review ADM's, Protocols, Policies, and Procedures as released and ensure proper implementation.
- Attend planning meetings for licensed psychologists to discuss and address departmental needs.
- Provide clinical supervision to master's level psychologists.
- Participate in committees such as the Human Rights Committee, Informed Consent Committee, etc.
- Facilitate training sessions and workgroups as necessary.
- Assist with reviewing and processing requests from the psychology department.
- Conduct various psychological assessments, including intelligence, adaptive behavior, and risk mitigation.
- Foster collaboration and communication with individuals, families, and Care Coordination Organizations.
- Provide counseling services as needed, including both group and individual sessions.
- Conduct travel/site visits to programs as required.
- Provide direct psychology coverage when necessary due to vacancies.
- Possess proficient computer skills, including database usage, spreadsheets, and Microsoft products like Word, TEAMS, and SharePoint.
- Undertake additional tasks, duties, or projects as assigned.
Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify identity.
