Job Overview

Position Summary:

The Imaging Services Manager is accountable for the administrative and operational oversight of designated departments, ensuring effective management of financial resources, human capital, routine operations, quality assurance, and clinical outcomes. This role emphasizes patient and staff satisfaction, change management, and other pertinent responsibilities associated with the position.

This position collaborates with a dedicated service-line management team to uphold the mission, vision, and values of Piedmont Fayette Hospital, fostering a patient-centered approach while enhancing imaging services throughout the healthcare continuum and promoting value-driven results.

Additionally, the manager will assist in staffing as needed and is capable of delivering clinical care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric cardiac patients.



Qualifications:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Candidates should be graduates of an AMA accredited Radiologic Technology, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine program, or possess a Nursing degree.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A minimum of five (5) years of experience as an imaging technologist or in a nursing capacity within inpatient or outpatient settings is required.


LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Must hold ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB registration, or possess a current Georgia state license as a Registered Nurse or a valid NLC/eNLC Multistate License.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
  • BLS certification is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
