Position Overview:

Fusion is seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to fill an immediate vacancy within our educational environment. This role is centered around creating a nurturing and engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters empathy, emotional well-being, resourcefulness, and independent critical thinking. The ideal candidate will address the diverse academic and emotional needs of students through a tailored educational approach. *This is a part-time role initially, with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on student enrollment.

Compensation: $27.30 per hour USD

Primary Responsibilities:

As a Science Teacher, you will provide individualized instruction in Math, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for students in grades 6-12.

Demonstrate the ability to adapt teaching methods and create a supportive learning environment that promotes holistic development.

Maintain thorough and accurate records for both students and teaching activities.

Foster open and consistent communication with parents and colleagues.

Engage actively in the campus community and contribute positively.

Commit to ongoing professional development and self-reflection to enhance teaching practices.

This position also involves significant mentoring responsibilities alongside subject tutoring.

Additional duties may be assigned as necessary (e.g., tutoring part-time students).

Required Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree is essential for consideration, along with a strong background in Science.

Proficient knowledge in subjects such as Biology, Chemistry, and Physics for grades 6-12 is required.

Teaching credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.

Experience working with students with learning differences and ADHD is preferred, as is prior mentoring experience.

The ideal candidate should be personable, well-organized, proficient in basic computer skills, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic educational setting.

Applicants must be ready to teach and tutor high school-level material immediately.
