Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Neurovascular Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.

About the Role:

This is a full-time night shift position, working 3, 12-hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate will have 1 year of nursing experience and be passionate about delivering world-class health care with human connection.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient care in the Neurovascular Unit, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, ensuring seamless communication with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to best practices and positive outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification.
  • National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of nursing experience.
