Job Summary

The Business Area ContiTech is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Co-op to support the Mechanical and Process Engineering Team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in rubber manufacturing and contribute to the development of innovative products and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Update and create CAD models for manufacturing machinery and tooling
  • Support machine design and modification projects
  • Conduct data gathering to assist in process improvement projects
Requirements
  • Minimum GPA 3.0; 15 credit hours completed
  • Minimum 1.5 years of remaining undergraduate studies
  • Minimum 1.0 years of CAD experience through school or employment (Solidworks, Inventor, Creo, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years remaining until completion of a Bachelor's degree
  • Fundamental mechanical design experience
  • Mechanical Engineering major is preferred but will consider any Engineering degree
  • Flexible work schedule to work around school schedule
  • Ability to flex up to 40 hours per week when school is not in session
