Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our team at The Toro Company. As an Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and development of our products and processes, working closely with our experienced engineers and technicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design and development of products and processes
  • Read and understand customer and supplier drawings, engineering documents, and specifications
  • Prepare and modify engineering parts and drawings using Creo, Windchill, and SAP
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, ANSI, and ASME
  • Provide engineering support assistance for reviews such as root cause analysis, gate and technical reviews, and budget/program proposals
  • Interface with other local and global internal organizations such as manufacturing, service, product support, purchasing, and marketing, as well as external customers and suppliers
  • Assist team in identifying process improvements
Requirements
  • Must be a currently enrolled student majoring in an Engineering discipline and must have completed freshman year
  • Must be detail-oriented, well-organized, and willing to learn new skills
  • Must be flexible in acceptance of assignments and schedules
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Must demonstrate acceptance of responsibility and show pride in work performed
  • Experience with Computer Aided Design and ERP systems
  • Power Systems, including Hydraulics and Pneumatics, is a plus
