Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Director of Nursing to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Director of Nursing in the administration of assigned nursing units, including policy development, organizational planning, and the direction of the delivery of geriatric nursing care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Nursing in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence and compassion.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, community resources, and other stakeholders to ensure optimal care outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in geriatric nursing, with at least 1 year of clinical experience related to gerontology care.
