Job Title: Bookkeeper

At Forte Business Services, we're seeking a highly skilled and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you'll play a critical role in supporting our clients' financial needs and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Perform reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Assist with month-end close and ensure timely completion of financial tasks.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
  • Strong bookkeeping and accounting experience, with a focus on financial operations and analysis.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks Online and/or Xero, with the ability to learn and adapt to new software.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve financial discrepancies.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
