Job Title: Controls Engineer

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer to join our team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, programming, and testing automated machinery and processes to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems and software to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Perform regular system checks, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to maintain smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand process requirements and implement control changes.
  • Maintain and improve existing automation solutions to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Participate in the design and installation of new manufacturing equipment and systems.
  • Provide technical support to team members to resolve machinery and process-related issues.
  • Document all control processes and changes, maintaining high standards of record-keeping.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Extensive experience with Allen Bradley, PLC, VFD Powerflex, and servo systems.
  • Proficiency in conveyor and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of automation, change control, and automation solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot and make decisions based on data.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
