Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily warehouse functions, including but not limited to vendor receiving, system operations, accurate tagging, staging, and inventory management of all products.
Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations by leading safety meetings, reporting hazardous conditions, and adhering to Best Practices.
Assist in the training and development of warehouse staff, following established training protocols and Best Practices.
Provide timely and accurate reporting to the Shift Manager on daily operations.
Maintain proficiency in all warehouse roles and perform duties as necessary.
Verify shipment contents by cross-referencing with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to ensure accuracy.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess strong teamwork abilities and effective communication skills.
Dependability and a solid attendance record are essential.
Basic math and computer skills are required.
Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or as needed to support our 24/7 operations.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Previous experience in a leadership capacity is preferred.
Experience in warehousing is advantageous.
Ability to work in varying temperatures, ranging from 35 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit.
Physical capability to repetitively lift/carry up to 50 pounds and push/pull up to 250 pounds.
Must be able to perform frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, squatting, and reaching.
Certification to operate a forklift is required.
