Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Optical Sales Manager to join our team at Specs For Less. As an Optical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our customers receive the best possible eyewear experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Enhance Customer Experience: Provide eyeglasses and contact lenses by accurately filling optical prescriptions and evaluating customers' vision needs.
  • Frame and Lens Recommendations: Assist clients in selecting the right lenses, coatings, and frames based on their lifestyle and prescription requirements.
  • Measurements and Fittings: Ensure proper eyewear fit by measuring bridge, eye size, temple length, pupillary distance, and optical center of eyes.
  • Sales and Promotion: Drive sales by displaying and promoting a range of optical products, including sunglasses, magnifying glasses, and low-vision aids.
  • Education and Care Instructions: Offer guidance on eyeglass and contact lens care, ensuring customers understand how to maintain their eyewear.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards by verifying that finished lenses meet optical specifications and adjusting frames as necessary for optimal fit.
  • Revenue Collection: Process payments and prepare customer charges.
  • Stay Updated: Keep up with industry trends by participating in training and professional development opportunities.
