About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Shredding Specialist to join our team as a Route Driver. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of confidential document destruction services to our clients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating a vehicle safely and efficiently, managing assigned routes, and providing exceptional customer service. Key Responsibilities
  • Operate company equipment in a safe and efficient manner to minimize risk of injury and equipment damage.
  • Perform pre/post-trip checks, driver check-in, and maintain DOT logs when applicable.
  • Manage assigned routes, ensuring customers' confidential material is collected and serviced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, handling and responding to inquiries expediently and in the best interest of both the customer and Stericycle.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Class B or above.
  • 3+ years of experience driving shred trucks, box trucks, and route management.
  • Excellent driving record and ability to obtain a medical card from a certified medical examiner.
  • Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records as required by federal regulation.

Salary Estimate

The estimated salary for this role is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
