About the Role

The Kraft Heinz Company is seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Maintenance Activities: Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure maximum operational potential is realized for the entire plant operation.
  • Reliability and Maintenance: Improve reliability, maintenance, and processing methods to reduce costs and avoid loss of production due to equipment malfunction or failure.
  • Equipment Management: Determine equipment capabilities, safety, and operational condition in coordination with other supervisors and technicians.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Develop cost-effective preventative maintenance procedures that increase the operational life of equipment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Seek and implement continuous improvement of processes through equipment improvement modifications.
  • Maintenance Training: Provide maintenance training to include the effective utilization of maintenance logs, completion of routine maintenance specific to facility, equipment operations, and support.
  • Safety and Compliance: Assist with safety training, monthly safety meetings, and provide technical support for all safety projects.
  • Long-Term Planning: Evaluate long-term needs in relation to major projects and factory improvements.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Direct workers in electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic, and utility systems maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment.
  • Employee Relations: Assist with developing department employee relations by continued communication of all information affecting employees.
Requirements
  • Maintenance Knowledge: Maintenance knowledge is preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Minimum of 1-5 years of related leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Maintenance Management Systems: Experience implementing and maintaining TPM Systems is strongly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems is a plus.
  • Allen Bradley PLCs: Experience using, troubleshooting, and programming Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
