About Us: The James and Connie Maynard Children's Hospital is the only dedicated children's hospital in the region, featuring a total of 197 beds and bassinets. Our advanced services include a Level IV NICU, a quaternary PICU equipped with ECMO capabilities, and a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department.
Role Responsibilities: As a Medical Staffing Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care in alignment with the North Carolina Board of Nursing-Nurse Practice Act and the American Nurses Association Standards of Practice. Your duties will encompass:
- Providing comprehensive nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
- Collaborating with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to create and execute individualized care plans.
- Documenting patient progress and interventions accurately and thoroughly.
- Promoting effective teamwork and communication among healthcare professionals to enhance patient care.
